To recap, we have touched upon communication and claims.  Your new policies are downloaded and you should have access to our online portal (DMIA Portal) and our mobile app, plus by now we should also be connected via Facebook and or LinkedIn.

Communication:
  • The DMIA Portal or mobile app provides direct line of access to your policies and our teams.
  • Facebook and or LinkedIn provides you with a direct access to me.
  • The main office direct email, info@dmia.com, skipping the phone tree.
  • The main office line 508-366-4894 - option 1 for personal insurance; option 2 for the Commercial Insurance.
  • Skip the phone tree all together:
    • Direct access to our Personal Lines Team - servicepl@dmia.com.
    • Direct access to our Commercial Lines Team - servicecl@dmia.com. 
Claims:
  • You are not required to immediately submit a claim; taking a day or two to organize yourself can be beneficial. 
  • Do what is necessary to be safe and prevent further damage or injury. 
  • Contact our office in any way you prefer. I or someone from our team will respond. 
It is at this point most insurance agents turn their attention away from current clients to focus on bringing in more new clients.  The thought process being, “you know how to reach us when you need us.” 

That simply isn't enough.
 
Knowing how to reach us is just the beginning.  Throughout our relationship, you will receive information to help you better understand and use your insurance, what to expect during common transactions at our agency, and more.
