Your homeowner's policy provides only those coverage's described in the policy.  Those coverage's pertain to property and liability losses.
There is no coverage to pay off the mortgage in event of death of the insured, nor is there any coverage for mortgage payments in the event of disability

 

 

 

Mortgage Payoff- A policy to pay off the mortgage in the event of a death of the insured. 

 

 

 

Mortgage Payment Protection- A policy to make mortgage payments in the event of disability due to sickness or accident of the insured.
