The Apple Health Unwinding is beginning.

{first_name},  you are receiving this because someone in your house has had Apple Health in the last two years. We wanted to update you on the massive change that is occurring with Apple Health.  In April the Healthcare Authority is turning on the verification requirements. This means that the 90 day automatic renewals has ended. It does not mean that your coverage automatically ends.

This is what will occur:

1. You will receive a bunch of post cards from the Healthcare Authority about your renewal.
2. About a month prior to your plans renewal, you will be requested to confirm your data.
3. Update any information and confirm application prior to your renewal date.
4. The Healthcare Authority will determine if you are qualified for Apple Health or a Qualified Health Plan.

If you have not had a Qualified paid plan after June of 2021 then do not be surprised that the plans cost less than you remembered. The Inflation Reduction Act enhanced the tax credits and Washington State passed Cascade Cares which lowered the price of many people’s healthcare.
