We are well aware of Confluence Health's contract dispute with Premera. Here is the statement from Premera. We discussed it on a Youtube video and facebook page. We feel that this was a contract negotiation. At any given time, there is one or two of these negotiations going on with providers and an insurance company in the state. If you have a friend that is concerned then feel free to share this email or video.  

The best course of action is waiting until Open Enrollment because that is the point that we are expecting a resolution. In order for a plan to be approved, it has to be contracted with 20% of the healthcare providers in the county. This is why we are expecting to see the contract completed by November 1st.

Set an appointment

  • We have a calendar page set up at: https://calendly.com/suziehealth 
  • We suggest setting the appointment between November 1st through November 30th if you have no major changes.
  • We suggest setting the appointment between December 1st through December 15th if you have major financial changes so it does not impact your December's coverage.
  • If you forget then we are still enrolling from December 16th through January 15th. 
  • It will even send you reminders.

You can always call however we are expecting a busy enrollment season since we will be seeing a continuation of cost savings through 2022. 

If you know someone that needs Medicare then they are slightly different. 

  • Confluence would have to throw away all of Medicare to stop taking a Medicare Medigap Plan.
  • Medicare Annual Enrollment takes place October 15th - December 7th. 
  • We are seeing big changes in Advantage Plans so this is a good year to review.

For use and variety of plans, we have Delta Dental Plans. Plans can start the following month. These plans can be added at any time. Be aware some plans have a waiting period for major services. If you have questions then call us.
