American Rescue Plan has big changes

We didn't want you to be surprised. 

We entered a special enrollment from February 15th through May 15th. While it allows people to move off COBRA or without healthcare to select a plan, it does not allow people to change plans. For you, there is some other big changes.

The price of healthcare is going to be reduced. There will be people receiving tax credits for the first time. There will be an increase in tax credits for those receiving them which means lower costs. This is the first time that we will see some silver plans that cost people nothing. The Washington Healthplanfinder is projecting that the lower costs will take effect in the middle of May or sooner. The Healthplanfinder has set up an page that talks about these changes that they will update here. 

If you have household members that receive Apple Health then please pay attention to the instructions of the Healthplanfinder as some income is not taxable and therefore not reportable. For example the $1400 stimulus check is not taxable income.
