Hi  {first_name}

Unfortunately many of our men and women from the United States Military have been disabled in the line of service. Our US Government and VA benefits department passed a bill that allows Vets who are listed as 10% or more disabled on their DD-214 are exempt from paying the VA funding fee on their VA loan.

The VA funding fee is 2.15% of the total loan amount on the home. This means that you could pay $6,450 in up front fees on a $300,000 home. That's a lot of savings in closing costs.

This is also beneficial in protecting Vets who take full advantage of their VA loan benefits and do the 100% financing route. If the market value of the home is $300k and you rolled $6k in closing costs in you are now $6k upside down in your home.

Imagine being transferred and having to pay 6% to an Agent to sell the home and then an additional $6k to cover the VA fee, on a $300k home that's $24,000 out the window quick.

Information like this is what you need to arm yourself with in order to make sure you're protected when you invest in the biggest asset you may ever acquire... your home
