Sometimes it's real easy to do the same things over and over again with little
thought only to find out that what seemed to be ok has really been causing
a serious problem. 
 
Lina and Tom thought they were doing the right thing by paying their 
rent every month on time and keeping a roof over their heads.
 
Don't get me wrong. You got to do what you got to do but the problem 
they found themselves in was that while they were paying their rent 
every month they had little left over for savings and oftentimes found 
themselves over leveraged on credit.  
 
With a chunk of their income going to rent, money that was helping their
landlord build an asset they couldn't save much and used any extra money
to try to keep their debt paid.
 
They were doing their best to keep things going but in reality they were 
standing still and just blowing through their income paying for rent. Money
they'll never see again.
 
This is something that happens to so many of us. We're doing the best
we can, taking care of business, working hard, paying our bills...
 
but while money is going out in liabilities - our debt we are really taking 
care of those we pay and not so much ourselves.
 
Lina and Tom decided not to allow this to keep them down and they were
going to make some serious changes.
