PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
 
The Minneapolis City Council is seeking your input on the ordinance to mandate employer paid sick and safe leave, or paid time off. The Council is proposing the most aggressive policy among the handful of cities that have enacted such mandates.
 
This one-size-fits-all approach is wrongheaded and will make doing business in Minneapolis even more difficult.
We must encourage the Council to reach beyond a mandated approach to sick and safe leave, and search for a truly innovative and forward-thinking approach.
There is a much better way to accomplish these goals than with a strict mandate.  We have suggested a full disclosure ordinance as a workable and more effective "Plan B."

A Public Hearing is Scheduled on May 18th at 3PM.
 
We need as many industry people there to testify and tell the Council there is a better way.
