1. First thing, you will want to ensure is set up is your profile settings as it effects your campaigns timezones and things such as your email CAN-SPAM information.
2. If you want to make calls, receive calls or text your contacts you will want to make sure you have a phone number purchased in the system.
3. In order to use the email feature, you will need to set up your email settings first. 

Credits & Groups are equally important to your settings as credits & groups are like the bread to your butter in the system! Credits are needed to use features in the systems, while groups are where all of your contacts are stored and what your campaigns are set to send to.
