Hi {first_name},

Thanks for taking the call from my rep today.
To give you a little more information on what we do, BioLux is a business development arm for DiaCarta.  DiaCarta is a multinational manufacturer and supplier to labs around the world.
While we offer a wide variety of products (https://www.diacarta.com/products), below, you'll find information on the COVID testing products that we offer:

  • Swab Collection Kits (with VTM)
  • Saliva Collection Kits
  • POC, fingerstick, Rapid FaStep Antibody Test Kits
  • POC, Rapid CareStart Antigen Test Kits
  • Overflow PCR Lab services on an as-needed basis (24-48 hour turn time)
  • We are days from launching a Quantitative Titer for COVID (for patients who have already been vaccinated)
Our core product is a True High-throughput COVID-19 Reagent that was rated by the FDA among the top 3 of nearly 300 assays that received their EUA. (Full Details Below)
  • 93 samples (96 well plate)
  • 381 samples (384 plate)
  • Sample input: only 2 - 5.5 µL sample needed; one sample in three wells
  • The Quantivirus SARS CoV-2 PCR reactions are set up in a total volume of 10 μL/reaction. Primer/Probe Mix, Master Mix, Positive Control, Extraction Control and No Template Control, are all included in our kit.
  • Results in 75 minutes with extracted sample

  • 100% Clinical sensitivity (95% CI, 83.9-100%)
  • 100% Clinical specificity (95% CI, 90.6-100%)

  • Targets 3 genes (and identifies the new variants) with:
    • No Cross Reactivity to other known respiratory viruses
    • 100% Positive percentage agreement (PPA)
    • 100% Negative percentage agreement (NPV)
    • The fluorophores detected in our QuantiVirus SARS Cov-2 with 3-viral gene multiplex are FAM(Orf1ab), Cy5(N-Gene), Texas Red (E-Gene), and VIC (Human RNAse-P).

  • We offer 2 different assays with a Limit Of Detection of 50 or 100 copies per ml respectively (significantly reducing the risk of false negatives).

  • While it works on additional cyclers, validated machines include:
    • Thermo Fisher (ABI) QuantStudio series
    • Thermo Fisher (ABI) 7500 Fast Dx
    • Bio-Rad CFX 384 (or 96 Touch)
    • Roche Light Cycler 480 II

  • Regulatory Approvals:
    • US FDA EUA (Approved)
    • CE / IVD
    • COFEPRIS (Mexico)
    • INVIMA (Columbia)
    • ICRM (India)

  • Currently being used in clinical labs and Universities around the world.
  • These reagents are top rated and aggressively priced.  While we are just about to release our direct to PCR method/buffer, these currently require extraction.
  • Our CLIA lab can also help out in completing the validation process, should you elect to use our reagents.
  • You can learn more about the reagents at:
  • To assist you with your validations, we can cover your cost of validation by giving you 50% off your first 480-test kit.
This will give you the needed 220-240 tests, for free, for your validation process, and the rest you can use for your patients.
  • Depending on volume and which of our two tests selected, the 480-reactions/kit of Catalog Number DC-11-0009 (QuantiVirus SARS CoV-2 PCRTest Kitdetects Orf1ab, N and Egenes) will be at a rate of $11-13.00/test/reaction, saving most labs tens of thousands a week
  • Again, we are about to launch a direct PCR method/buffer, which works perfectly with our reagents and will provide additional savings on both consumables and lab processing time/expenses related to extraction.
  • In terms of ordering, you can order as needed or we can set up a standing order for the month or week, whichever works best.
You can find supporting documentation, Quick Start Guides, FDA rankings, info on use of our reagents for detection of variants, product brochures, FDA letters, IFUs and more at http://bit.ly/InfoOnReagents.

Feel free to reply to this email with any questions but it would probably be best for us to jump on a quick call.

If you feel so inclined, please tell us a bit more about your current situation:
  • What's your approximate monthly testing volume?
  • Are you doing direct to PCR or Extraction?
  • What cyclers are you using for your COVID PCR testing?
    • What reagents are you using and what's your cost for the reagents you're using?
  • If you're doing extraction, what extraction instrument, what extraction reagents are you using and what's your cost of the extraction reagents you're using?
  • How satisfied are you with your current consumables providers (price, quality, ease of use, service, access to inventory, etc.)
  • If we could show you a better and/or more affordable solution, would you be willing to consider working with us?
I'll look forward to speaking with you!
When might be a good time this week to have a quick chat?
