The world owes you nothing

Everything is up for grabs... 

As my Son grows older and matures into what I’d like to call “Operation: Mini Me”, I understand that He will only know what he is taught and what is not taught He is left to explore. It is to my understanding that we have stumbled upon a common interest in which we can both enter together for the very first time. Him being my first born, a boy at that, I’ve only dreamt of this day to come where we can share a passion that involves mostly every boy’s childhood memories... what adults now refer to as FREEDOM.

Having the sense of urgency as Parent it’s always a matter of being able to provide and protect your family in any given situation. There are multiple opportunities with the road that my Son and I are about to encounter. A fork in the road offers a few options that appear to be a walk in the park but one specific road doesn't seem too easy,  yet the potential outcome outweighs the risks. This is an opportunity to build my Son a solid foundation with the knowledge that I have acquired thus far and because I can see his passion, we have a lot of gas! I have decided to take him down the road with rough terrain, unclear paths and a destination with no guarantees of survival.

That path was to create him a business to teach him the many things that I feel will help him be a better version of Me. Although He is only 8 years old, it’s never too early to learn and I am here for him every step of the way. We decided rather than to buy a functional firearm, It’d be more of a bonding experience to build one together and make it our own. That being said, with the wide variety of aftermarket parts available for the AR-15 platform we chose to hand select each part and build up. Educating him on the importance of safety along the way and understanding the functionality of each moving part allows him to know the firearm from the inside out supporting safe handling.

At the end of the day he is constantly being reminded that nothing in life is free and nothing is owed to you. Hard work and perseverance will lead to success, mistakes will be made but we must learn from them. Build an empire now and later he will thank me when the day comes where He is in the same position to protect and provide for his family. Staying true to what you believe in and reach high for the sky will inspire others to do the same and make a difference.
