Now for a quick history lesson.

In the late 70s, E.F. Hutton Stock Brokers used to run funny commercials on TV.  

They’d have two business people in a crowd and one would say, “Well, my broker is E.F. Hutton, and he says…”

The whole crowd would…  

Stop in their tracks

Look at the two guys,

and strain to hear what he’s about to say.

Then the commercial ends with “Inquiring minds want to know…”

Later on, the National Enquirer magazine started to use the saying. They’d throw out a bunch of “click-baity” style headlines. And use the slogan, “enquiring minds want to know…”

And here’s how history ties into your present day.
