So you want to sign up for Part A Medicare?

{first_name}, signing up for your Part A medicare benefits can be a bit overwhelming.  Luckily, there are just a few easy steps to get this going.

Here is a link to my website.  https://www.stephenmillsagency.com/health  Once there, click on the link in Step 2.

This will take you to the Social Security website, click the sign in/up button in the top right hand corner and create a "mySocialSecurity" profile.  Most of the time they can verify your identity through the website and you don't have to call.  I have had a few though though that ended up needing to call the SS office (which is about an hour long hold time).

If you are not going to be taking social security benefits, make sure that you sign up for medicare benefits only towards the bottom of the main page.  Since you have group coverage and will not be going on full medicare, make sure that you are signing up for Part A only.  If you have worked 10 years of your life, this will be no cost to you.

Once you have signed up for your Part A, you will get it in the mail in 3-4 weeks.  Keep it somewhere safe.  About 2-3 months prior to leaving your job or losing your group coverage, give me a call and we will make plans for your Part B coverage and additional plans so that you are properly covered and avoid any penalties.

If you have any troubles, don't hesitate to call me.

Not too late for a final expense policy

Sometimes in the uncertainty of picking a medicare plan, another important policy gets overlooked.  If you need to replace a life insurance policy that you lost when you retired from your job or maybe you didn't have one in the first place, I can help.  You still have options for a final expense policy that doesn't break the bank and that will provide peace of mind to your loved ones when they need it most.  Click here to see what a life policy with no medical evaluation would look like for you.

Let me help!

Your health plan is too important to not have an on-going relationship with a local agent who will pay attention to your medications, doctors, and other needs.  I look forward to being your agent.
