After a 26-year career in banking, focusing on wealth management and private client services, Maureen became an Independent Insurance Agent in January 2015. She opened McGovern Agency a few years later, in December 2017. Maureen is licensed in Michigan and Florida for Property, Casualty, Accident, Health, and Life insurance. She has been involved with many community organizations over the years and has been with the Parade Company since 1987. When Maureen is not at work or volunteering, she likes to spend time with her family and her three dogs. Colt, Copper, and Charlie may even greet you at the office!

Shannon is a licensed Property & Casualty Producer that has been with the agency for 3 years. Believe it or not, insurance has not always been her passion. Shannon is a Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist who loves blood and bacteria. When she is not here at McGovern Agency, you can find her volunteering in an apple pie costume or attending craft beer and music festivals.
