Your Comprehensive Insurance will have a Deductible - This is the amount you will be responsible for paying in the event of a claim. 

If you experience an Other-than-Collision loss and your Comp Deductible is $1,000, you would receive any payout for the claim less $1,000.

Lower and higher deductibles are available, but you should select the amount you would be comfortable with and that makes sense for you.
