I wanted to take a moment and give everyone a little behind-the-scenes info and clarify some confusion related to the discount. You are undoubtedly getting it, read on for details.

Farmers announced on April 10-11th that all personal auto customers & policy holders with an effective date prior to 4/1/2020 were going to be receiving a 25% discount for a specified length of time, while all other companies offered 15% if anything at all. At the time of this announcement, there was still much red tape to jump through. All of these sorts of things are regulated by the State Insurance Commissioners office in each respective state. It's a back and fourth process between Farmers & the insurance commissioner's office to get permission to give credit to our customers; sad I know but regulation in many spaces like banking and insurance isn't a bad thing.

This is not an instantaneous process in the least, but what we are being told with correspondence from Farmers on April 14th, is that the credits were to begin appearing in "the next 30 days", which by my math (which is admittedly terrible angel) leaves us 2-3 weeks for the price break to begin reflecting on your bills. 

DON'T panic, you will receive your credit.

Farmers isn't giving it to some and not others, but the reality is that everyone's bill & bill cycle falls on a different day. Your bill WILL NOT be reflecting a credit yet, so please do not be surprised if the amount due is still showing the same as it has in previous months. If your due date is before these credits begin showing & you pay your normal amount, it will result in a positive amount & credit on your next bill. Rest assured, I will be keeping a watchful eye on things & let's keep our eye on your account together, but you will be receiving your credit as all the kinks are worked out.
