Hey {first_name}!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to help with your insurance needs! If you ever have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our relationship doesn’t stop here—it’s just the beginning. Our commitment is to you, not the insurance company. We’re here to guide you through the unexpected and ensure you know how to handle it when it happens.
Follow these steps to make your transition to our agency and your new carrier as smooth as possible:
✅ Set up your online account – You should have received an email from your new insurance carrier to get started. Let us know if you need help!
✅ eSign your policy documents – This includes your application, autopay enrollment, and any other forms required by your carrier.
✅ Download your carrier’s app – The easiest way to access your policy documents, insurance ID cards, and make payments.
✅ Enroll in the telematics program (if applicable) – If you signed up for a safe-driving discount, make sure to activate the app within the required timeframe to keep your savings.
✅ Cancel any replaced policies – If we replaced an existing policy, contact your previous carrier or agent to cancel it effective the start date of your new policy to avoid a lapse in coverage, which could impact your future rates.
We’re a full-service agency and can handle most policy changes, including:
Updating coverages
Adding vehicles or drivers
Updating payment and contact information
Providing policy documents
Most requests must be submitted in writing for quick and accurate processing. The best way to reach us is by email (service@swordins.com) or through the Customer Portal on our website: swordins.com. Of course, we’re always available for questions!
Insurance is there to protect you when you need it most. If you experience a significant loss, we recommend calling your carrier’s claims number immediately to file your claim.
If the damage is minor or you're unsure whether to file a claim, reach out to us first. We want to help you avoid unnecessary premium increases and guide you through your options. A good rule of thumb for property claims: Was the loss sudden and accidental? If so, it may be worth filing.
Over the next week, you’ll receive additional emails and texts to help you settle in. After that, we won’t reach out as often—but that doesn’t mean we aren’t here for you! You’ll still receive important updates related to your policy and our agency as needed.
Once again, welcome! We’re excited to have you as part of our agency!
