It MAY be time for summer!

Graduation is here, Hurricane season is kicking off, and it's getting HOT! Here's the monthly low down...

The Team takes on MDF!

It's no secret that small town life means giving back and being active in town. Everyone in our office is on a board in the community. I'm the Chamber Board Secretary, and I co-chair the Beer and Ticket Tent at the Magnolia Days Festival each May and chair Ladies Night Out in December.  James spends both days in the tent helping out, and this year, Zach and Dwain joined us for the last shift on Friday. It's always a blast, we love seeing everyone, and there is nothing like showing community pride and raising funds to grow and support the businesses and economic growth of Columbus! This year, the festival was attended by an estimated 5,800+ people enjoying kids' activities, food court, merchants and street vendors, trolley rides, the presentation of the Belles, and art show, and a killer music lineup headlined by Wade Bowen. We look forward to the next event to volunteer and show our town some love!

New Wheels, New Questions

We have been getting lots of folks calling in to add or swap vehicles. If you're looking to do the same, then before you get to the lot, make sure you know some basics. 1. If you trade in a car, the new one takes on the SAME COVERAGE as the one traded in automatically for 30 days. If you are adding a vehicle with no trade, it takes on the highest coverage on your policy. So if you only have a car with liability, the new car only has liability as well. 2. We cannot add a vehicle without a VIN. Get me the year, make, model, VIN and the name and address of the lienholder (if applicable). 3. YES, I CAN quote the cost of insurance before you buy, as long as I have a VIN. Don't let a salesperson tell you a sports car will have a lower premium than a truck... every vehicle has a different "risk factor" and the best way to know is to check. . No, high tech safety features do not lower the cost of insurance. It makes the car more expensive to fix. Again- call and get a quote. 5. Your billing will be pro-rated. We will tell you the cost as close as possible based on the current term. That can change at renewal.
