Hello {first_name}

I hope this email finds you well.

I'm writing to you today because your homeowners insurance policy recently renewed here at Farmers Insurance, and there was a change made to the way your roof is being paid out. Previously, your roof was covered at replacement cost, but now it's covered at actual cash value.
  • Replacement cost is the cost to rebuild your roof with materials of like kind and quality.
  • Actual cash value is the depreciated value of your roof, taking into account its age and condition.
The change to actual cash value means that if your roof needs to be replaced, you may not be reimbursed for the full cost of a new roof. The amount you receive will depend on the age and condition of your roof, as well as the current cost of materials.

I understand that this may be a change, so I'd like to book an appointment with you to discuss your different options regarding your coverage. During our call, we can review your policy and go over the pros and cons of each option.

If your roof is 0 to 10 years old, replacement cost is still available through Farmers. If your roof is 10 to 15 years old, we may be able to move you to one of our other carriers at replacement cost. To book an appointment, please click on the link below:
