I know, it’s crazy. 

And sometimes they cost even more than that depending on where you live and what you want done.

But how much insurance you should get really depends on a few things.

Here are some questions you want to ask yourself that will help determine how much burial insurance you should have:
 
✅  Do you want to be buried or cremated?
✅  Do you want to leave anything extra to your loved ones after the funeral costs?
✅  Are there specific things you want for your service and how much do they cost?
✅  What is your comfortable monthly budget for insurance costs?
 
These are important questions to ask yourself when deciding how much burial insurance to get.

I typically see people purchase between $5,000 - $10,000, depending on what they want and how much they can afford.

However, keep this in mind:’

You don’t have to start out with a lot of insurance.

You can start with a small amount, just to lock in your rates, and then increase the amount of coverage you have later.

This is a mistake that I see many people make.

They think that just because they can’t afford a $5,000 burial insurance policy, that means they shouldn’t get any insurance!

Nothing could be further from the truth.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with starting out with a $2,000 policy and then increasing it later on when you can afford more.

Believe me when I say this, having some insurance is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS better than having none!
