It's always nice to get a new - or new to you - car or truck. The newer autos have accident avoidance features such as back up cameras and lane change alerts. These features are great, and one may think that a safer car would automatically translate into lower insurance costs. That's not necessarily true because the sensors and cameras that make a car safer also make it more expensive to repair in the case of an accident. 

My best advice is before you buy any car or truck, call your insurance agent to make sure of your insurance cost.
