“How did I get here?”
 
Prior to insurance I worked as a district manager for one of the largest salty snack companies in the world.  I was in charge of a large group of sales people and had some pretty high sales goals.  I was good…really good.  However, I didn’t feel excited to go to work.  What I really enjoyed was making the sale and educating people.  It wasn’t about the money anymore.
 
It was then that I finally realized what I needed to do…
 
I needed to leave the corporate world and succeed or fail on my own.  The insurance business is a great business if you approach it the right way.  I wanted to educate people and help them understand WHY they needed insurance and WHY they needed specific coverages.  If you look at the WHYs instead of the HOW MUCH you really begin the appreciate how important insurance can be.
 
Since then, I've learned a lot about the specific questions that insurers face but don’t want to ask.
