  • USDA – These programs help those buying in rural areas.
  • State and Local Programs – Redevelopment programs often help with down payment assistance to help encourage home buyers to buy in special districts.
  • Native American Home Initiative – Members of Native American tribes can receive $15,000 to use for down payment and closing costs.
These are just a few of the programs which provide assistance with the down payment.
