Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period is almost here!

And this may be the only time of year that you may be permitted to make a plan change.

Your local agent with Ferguson Insurance Services has been providing advice and asistance to her Medicare-eligible customers since 2007. This is the perfect opportunity to request a benefit review to make sure your plan is still the best for your unique needs.

Contracts can change between insruance carriers and their providers at anny time. Generally, changes take effect on January 1st. This is the perfect time to make sure your doctors are still accepting your plan. We can do that for you!

Your plan's formulary (list of covered drugs) can change at any time. Most changes occur on January 1st and are published on October 1st. The most common changes we see right now are: a previously covered drug no longer being covered or a drug moved from one Tier to another. Changes in Tiers always come as a surprise unless you are prepared and know about it ahead of time. We can check those for you!

For people who prefer Medicare Advantage plans, this is a fantastic time to shop around. Plans are getting creative with the funds they receive to adminster your benefits.
