Good day to you {first_name}!

Have started planning a new home purchase?

Congratulations, owning your own home is a great investment in your future. Perhaps you
have the income and credit but don’t quite have the down payment yet.

I can help! Here are a few great tips for saving for a down payment:

  •  Create a separate savings account and add to it each month. Keeping the money separate will help keep you from using it for something else.
  • Skip vacations.
  • Lower expenses. Eat at home and enjoy a movie on Netflix. Little changes can addup.
  • Borrow from a relative
  • Borrow from your retirement plan. Most plans offer penalty-free withdrawals to buy a home.
  • Get a second job. Bring in extra income by a part time job or offer freelance work.
  • Ask sellers for a closing cost credit. If there is enough value in the home, lenders will often allow you to receive a closing cost credit from the seller, saving your cash for the down payment.
Saving for a down payment might seem difficult, but the truth is finding the money for a
down payment is easier than you might think
